We were out and about running errands today and got back in the early evening to find.....
....that we got our first phone call from All God's Children since sending in our application Tuesday!
Just 3 days later. Oh, I am SO excited! It is really happening!!!
A message was left on our phone by an adoption coordinator. It was brief, but she said that everything looks great! She is going to send our application along to a social worker, who will be the one to officially accept us into the program if everything looks good to her. The coordinator will give us a call back if and when this happens! Praying!
In the meantime, Colin and I have to write and send in a personal statement about our history of infertility/treatments/emotional processing, etc. We'll get this done this weekend. Trust me, we want to get started!
Once, prayerfully, all is set, we will be mailed an orientation packet and our contracts!
I am the most excited I have ever been. This is really happening. REALLY!
