Praise God

Guess what?? I just got a job offer! I went on an interview this Tuesday at Eden Meadows Rehabilitation Suites in Oshkosh, WI and got the job. I am so thankful to God. I have been unemployed for 3 months due to a move across state for a job my husband accepted. I am going to miss all of this extra time I have had to myself, but I welcome the income and work! Eden Meadows is a brand new rehab facility. I am so excited!

Other news. Packers are going to the superbowl! Watch it on Sunday. I grew up here in Wisconsin and have always been a cheesehead fan. Go Pack GO!

It is CD30. I want to take a pregnancy test but am too afraid. I don't want there to be a negative. I have seen that too many times. For those TTC, have you ever been too afraid?? I used to be so eager and went through boxes upon boxes of tests. Now, I just want to live in the hope that it could be different this month. I just came off 3 months of birth control pills 2 months ago. Could my cycle just be slow to readjust? Hmph. What to do, what to do.

  1. I am typically not a tester, but broke down and tested this cycle, now I remember why I don't test...those natives are so dissappointig,

Congrats on the new job, sounds like a lovely place to work.

  2. Congrats Jess! Sounds like a great job, and a great facility!

As for testing...you've been good to hold out this long. At least now you know (if you decide to test) that the results will be accurate this late in the game.

    Fingers crossed for you!

  3. Congrats on the job!!! Woohoo!

I used to wait 5 days...because my cycles varied. I hated the disappointment, too.

  4. I am totally not an early tester. I think I was at least 4 days late this past time, and even then I was a little nervous!! Keep us posted!

  5. Congrats on the job! Testing can be nerve wracking. You want to do it, but you don't want to do it. I remember being disappointed so many times. Whatever you decide to do, good luck!

  6. That is awesome news about the job!! Congrats. :) It sounds like it will be the perfect job for you. Funny how that worked out, huh?? ;)

As for testing, I never test anymore, it is just too disappointing. I didn't even POAS last month, just the blood test, but I knew I was pregnant....who knows what I will do this month. Probably just do the blood test again. it helps having no tests in the house and not wanting to spend money. Your cycle could be wacky coming off the BCP, I know mine sure was! Thinking of you. xo

  7. Awesome news on the job! Congrats! I used to test all the time too but after a few months of that, I stopped. The negatives were just too hard to see.

  8. Congrats on the new job! What a great opportunity! Sounds so exciting! Since my Saints didn't make it to the Superbowl this year, I have to choose a different team to cheer for. I'm cheering for the Packers! I've been cheering for them since the Saints were out. As for testing, I never tested early either. You will test when it feels right. Just do what feels right. For me, what feels right changes from month to month. Best of luck!

  10. Congratulations!

I'm not really a football fan, but my dad is a lifelong Packers fan. He's coming over to our house to watch the big game, so he'll be rooting with you!
