Praying Through Pre-Adoption Day 3

Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men,

so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

~Hebrews 12:3

We are asking God for strength today!

Strength to walk through the steps of the adoption process. Strength to endure the long wait to know who our little ones will be--to hold them for the first time--to bring them home.

Jesus suffered infinitely more than any of us are asked to suffer. This is a great encouragement for us when we are weary and tempted to become discouraged.

We know we cannot do this alone. We need to rely on God. The Holy Spirit dwells inside of us every day! He is readily available to give us strength when we are weak.

 

When we are weary, the Spirit will give us JOY.

When we feel like complaining or giving up, the Spirit will help us to OVERCOME.

When we are lost, the Spirit will give us DIRECTION.

Prayer: Jesus, please clothe us with strength and endurance. Let us look to Your Spirit for joy and direction, and to overcome. Thank you for being the Great Source of everything good!
