Satyourday

Greetings! Today is Saturday, or my new favorite word, satyourday. I enjoy this concept of Saturday being 'your' day. Perhaps this means taking extra time to relax and enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon tea. Perhaps it means taking an hour to read a good book or delve into another favorite hobby of yours. Or perhaps it means spending extra precious moments just 'being' with your beloved and family. What do you enjoy most about your day?

I think I've been meant to realize that I can do anything I want to in life. I need to learn to live in the moment, the here-and-now, not the 'what-ifs'. If you have struggled with the what-ifs in life, how have you overcome it? I could always use some good advice and prayer. May God bless your Satyourday, your spirit, and your health.

  1. Good for you! Sometimes it's scary to try something new, but if it's what makes you happy it's worth it in the end!
I am at a similar point in our IF journey, I am looking for things that make me happy. I am trying to focus on the good things in our life (there are many)!
    Enjoy your Satyourday!

  2. I love that Satyourday! It's nice to have a few extra hours and do something just for yourself.

I know exactly how you're feeling. My first degree was in Speech therapy and right after we were married, I had a job with a private company. It was awful; I loved what I did but realized I really wanted to be "in" the classroom with the kids. I then accepted a job at a school to make sure this is really what I wanted to do, took some general classes at the local community college, and then finished everything up at the university. It was hard, juggling married life, work, and school, but it was the best decision I ever made!

    I'll be praying for you!

  3. What an important decision! Doesn't it feel great to feel like you might actually have a little control over some aspects of your life? I hope you enjoyed your Satyourday! Sending prayers your way.
