Francis Chan illustrates how our life on earth is only a small, small portion of our existence. He poses the question, "What are you living for?"
Our life is but a flower quickly fading. Here today and gone tomorrow. A wave tossed in the ocean. A vapor in the wind. ~Casting Crowns (Who Am I)
God tells us that we are His. His children. Why are we living for today? Why aren't we living for the eternity that has been prepared for us?
I love this! It reminds of me 2 Corinthians 4:16-18...here is verse 18 "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." This is my favorite passage right now...helps me get thru the hard days! :)
